Q: How Do I Purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased over the phone or on the website using a Visa or MasterCard. If you don’t have access to these cards, or would like a physical ticket, tickets can also be purchased in person at one of our outlets. Full ticket details and outlets are listed below the details for each selected gig on the site. If purchasing tickets from the Prince Box-Office, located in the Prince Public Bar, tickets can be bought with cash or card anytime between 12noon and 10pm (9536-1174). Our usual outlets are Greville Records (Prahran – 95103012), Missing Link (City – 96508208) and Polyester Records (Fitzroy, 94195137).
Q: Will the tickets be posted to me in the mail, and is it possible to come and collect my tickets before the gig?
Pre-purchased tickets through our website or phone bookings can only be collected on the night of the show after doors open. They cannot be collected prior to the event.
Q: What do I need in order to collect my tickets on the night of a show?
At the door on the night of the gig you will be asked to present photo identification (Drivers Licence, Keypass, Passport etc.) as proof of identity for the ticket holder, and your reference number for the ticket purchase (this number begins with PR…). The ticket/s purchased will be at the door waiting in name they were booked under. If for some reason the name of the booking needs to be changed, this can be arranged by calling us in the Bandroom Office on (03) 9536 1168 during business hours.
Q: Is the venue 18yrs+? Is it possible to bring my child or someone under the age of 18yrs into the venue if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian?
Due to licensing restrictions no one under the age of 18 is allowed entry into the Prince Bandroom regardless even if they are accompanied by parent or guardian. The exception to this policy is in the event of an underage gig where no alcohol or tobacco will be available for purchase.
Q: Can I refund/exchange my Tickets?
We ask that you carefully choose the show (and night) you are booking tickets as there are no refunds or ticket exchanges available after the payment has been made. You can however change the name of the booking into someone else’s name, by calling us in the Bandroom Office on (03) 9536 1168 during business hours.
Q: How do I get to the Prince Bandroom?
The Prince Bandroom is located at 29 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda, close to the corner of Acland Street. The number 16 tram can be caught from the city anywhere along Swanston Street or along St Kilda Road, tram number 96 along Bourke St and tram 112 down Collins St.
If you’re driving, there is a large 300 space carpark to the rear of the venue on Jackson Street, located off Acland Street.

Q: Do you have Wheelchair access?
Yes, if wheelchair access is required, please call us in the Bandroom Office on (03) 9536 1168 prior to the show, and entry will be arranged with the venue manager through the rear of the venue.
Q: Is the venue a seated one?
Unless it is specified, the venue is General Admission standing room only. There are a few couches and tables around the fringes of the dance-floor. The balcony affords an area for rest and fresh air, with plenty of seating and a good view of Fitzroy Street.
