TZU, Oakley ‘O.G.’ Grenell and Melatonin will be joining Koolism, Illzilla and The Nomad for a truly trans-Tasman hip hop and beats celebration that will kick start this holiday season with a whole lot of KA-POW!!

As experienced party starters, TZU have rocked some of Australia's biggest music festivals such as Splendour in the Grass, Falls festival, Big Day Out and The Pyramid Rock Festival. They have shared stages with De La Soul, Michael Franti's Spearhead and Blackalicious. Known for their high energy shows, TZU fuse live instruments with the classic turntables and sampler set up. MC’s Joelistics and Count Bounce are known for getting the crowd involved, delivering the freshest flows with social conscience and a sense of humour. The release of hugely successful third album 'Computer Love' is all over the air waves and is delivered as an absolutely bouncing live show from the TZU crew that will knock your socks off.

Multi-musical talent and one of New Zealand’s favorite son’s, Oakley ‘O.G.’ Grenell will be performing as XMASSIVE’S second kiwi representative. At 27 O.G.’s career has already seen him touring with Salmonella Dub and opening for Ben Harper. His second solo release ‘Moving On’ hit the shelves last month, creating a stir with it’s silky smooth combination of Hip Hop Jazz and Soul. With collaborations with the like’s of Dynamite MC, Spikey Tee and lyricists KP & Switch, ‘Moving On’ is an album of the finest beats, breaks and vocals. O.G presents his album ‘Moving On’ with the help of internationally renowned MC Switch (Sunshine Soundsystem).

Melatonin will bring to the party a blend rootsy dub and rock steady grooves to challenge your mind and move your feet. With an eco-social justice conscience, Melatonin purveys an exciting blend of decadent beats with a point. Forming in 1999, Melatonin has cultivated a strong following. This fan base has seen the band release three EP’s and one album, which receive regular airplay. Appearing at some of Melbourne’s premier venues, crazed warehouse and outdoor chill and dance parties, Melatonin also participates in cutting edge eco-social initiatives and run their own solar power rig. With new tracks and remixes hitting the airwaves in late 2008, Melatonin will bring a party atmosphere of skanking beats to The Prince to warm up the XMASSIVE party.
