ANGELAS DISH
THE BRAINDEAD LOVERS
It’s final! Drum roll please… The three winners of The JD Set’s first round national tour are ANGELAS DISH, the BRAINDEAD LOVERS and CALLING ALL CARS
It’s the stuff of rock & roll dreams are made of: Having given music fans the chance to vote for which of their favourite up-and-coming live acts they want to see perform together on a major national, playing in some of the most legendary live music venues across Australia, these three bands have run in the trifecta in what was a tight horse race between six great bands.
ANGELAS DISH, a four-piece band of rockers originating from the Central Coast of NSW, took one of the top three honours, and evidently will be looking forward to getting some more attention around Australia in support of their recently released debut album, War On Time.
Having emerged from a prime spot supporting The Divinyls last year, rocking trio BRAINDEAD LOVERS have recently released their debut self-titled EP, enjoying much radio play. After The JD Set this should be guaranteed for them!
