THE CAT EMPIRE - PRINCE RESIDENCY - 17th SEPT
Just before stepping onto their Europe bound plane, THE CAT EMPIRE have announced a return residency at The Prince of Wales for September. THE CAT EMPIRE have remained faithful to their home town audiences and to The Prince, since their early days of Sunday evening residencies when they first started to emerge onto the Melbourne music scene, in a way which quickly had thousands of people packing out the venue.
THE CAT EMPIRE leave Australian shores July 1 for their annual European Summer tour, which will see them play shows through the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Holland and France for the European release of LIVE ON EARTH, their live double album which was released in Australia earlier this year. Their Empire continues to grow overseas, with the tour sold out 6 weeks in advance of the bands arrival.
The guys will return to Melbourne to focus on writing material for a new album, using the Prince shows as a chance to test drive a few new tunes as well as plenty of the old favourites. As always, ticket prices are being kept low for the Prince, and will sell out quickly.
