Since their arrival in Australia from New Zealand three years ago, BONJAH have developed into one of Australia’s most unique and exciting musical talents.
Exceptional song writing abilities, loyal friendship, tireless touring and a strong work ethic have seen South African born Glenn Mossop (vocals / acoustic guitar); New Zealanders Regan Lethbridge (electric guitar / vocals), David Morgan (bass), Dan Chisholm (drums) and Australian James Majernik (percussion) sell independently in excess of 15,000 CDs.
The past twelve months have been a whirlwind for BONJAH after the release of their critically acclaimed debut album. Until Dawn was released through MGM Distribution and was later nominated for Best Australian Independent Blues and Roots Album.
A powerful blend of soul, roots and rock has seen BONJAH support some of the world’s greatest artists including The Who, Counting Crows, G Love & Special Sauce, The Original Wailers and Australia’s own Paul Kelly and The Beautiful Girls.
With a busy summer of national touring followed by recording for their second album, BONJAH are set for a defining 2010.
