ATM15 combines the sophistication of jazz harmony, form, and orchestration with the passion of contemporary soul music, all presented with the raw driving energy of a big band. ATM15 is a completely unique musical experience that presents the big band in a brand new light .
After winning Sweden's 2009 International Composing Competition, and the 2009 Wangaratta Jazz Festival - National Big Band Composing Competition, ATM15 have been selling out shows at premier music venues around Melbourne including Bennetts Lane, The Evelyn Hotel, The Paris Cat Jazz Club and Bar 303.
ATM15 are launching their new CD 'Big Band Reborn'. The CD was recorded in Melbourne, mastered in NYC by Chris Gheringer (Erykah Badu, Joss Stone, Lupe Fiasco), and propels the rich tradition of big bands into the 21st Century with a distinct Australian influence.
